Sole Therapy Reflexology, based in Orpington, is dedicated to improving health and wellbeing through personalised reflexology treatments to support the individual, as well as professional training for reflexologists. As an experienced reflexologist, healthcare professional and educator, I provide client focused treatments, alongside CPD courses that help qualified reflexologists expand their knowledge, confidence and practical skills.
My aim is to provide every client with a calm, welcoming and restorative experience. Each treatment is individually tailored to promote deep relaxation and support clients living with a wide range of health concerns, identified during the initial consultation and throughout our therapeutic relationship. Only organic products are used, and the relaxing therapy space is enhanced with soft music, candles and heated cloths. The organic oils and balms are handcrafted by Flying Wild in Ireland, with the treatment medium carefully selected according to each client's needs. The balms are blended with organic essential oils, for example, lavender for its calming effect, or mandarin for use during pregnancy (one of the only essential oils considered safe for use during the entire period of pregnancy). I support clients from Orpington, Petts Wood, Bromley, Sevenoaks, and across Kent, Sussex and Essex. Every advanced CPD training course I provide is authored and taught by me, drawing on years of hands-on practice and teaching experience, sharing knowledge and practical techniques enabling reflexologists to enhance client outcomes, broaden their therapeutic approach and grow their practice. |

The focus at Sole Therapy Reflexology is to ensure that you get the biggest benefit from the treatment, and as such the appointments are slightly longer than other practitioners (with the sessions lasting approx 70 minutes). This is to allow the necessary time to provide you with the right treatment, time to explain findings, provide any appropriate aftercare suggestions (such as self-applied hand reflexology) and to discuss anything that you may wish to raise. The aim is to ensure that you have a high quality, personalised experience from the moment you step through the door until the moment you leave, not just whilst you are receiving the treatment.

About Me

My name is Emma Clark and I am the therapeutic reflexologist at Sole Therapy Reflexology. I am a mum of 2 boys and prior to becoming a reflexologist I worked within health and education. I am a former Midwife, have worked in adult education and in schools with children with additional needs. As a Midwife I was trained in aspects of maternity reflexology, and personally, when traditional healthcare couldn’t help with my health problems I tried it to help my health. I benefited greatly with a reduction in tension, chronic pain and hormone related symptoms. I became inspired to become a reflexologist to support others coping with day to day stresses, challenges and health issues.

I trained at the London School of Reflexology under Louise Keet, an expert and author of many books on reflexology. I have a degree in midwifery, a diploma in reflexology, as well as training in a range of advanced specialised reflexology techniques. I aim to have as many different approaches in my 'toolkit' to enable me to treat each client in the best and most effective way possible so that they have the best quality of life moving forward. I do not charge extra for these techniques, I only charge for my time. I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists and the Complementary Support Team UK which provides therapeutic support to communities at time of crisis. I am fully insured and DBS checked. |
