I hope you and your loved ones are well. I am very fortunate that other than some frustrations of home schooling and feeling detached from the world, myself and my family have come through the last few months well, and are all in good health. I am also very pleased to now be able to see clients for hands-on reflexology treatments too. To allow for cleaning between clients, and to prevent clients passing each other at Sole Therapy, I have had to reduce the number of treatments I can do. These additional precautions, coupled with my need to continue with some home schooling at the moment and then dealing with my sons during the school holidays, means that my appointment slots will unfortunately, be more limited.
For both clients safety and that of my family, clients will notice some differences when they arrive. The Association of Reflexologists Covid-19 Secure Workplace Policy Logo is displayed on site. The Policy logo is there to offer clients the assurance that I am following Government guidelines and the AoR Covid-19 Secure Workplace Policy for working responsibly and safely, to minimise risk during these unprecedented times. Full details of changes made can be found here Hygiene and safety of clients is of paramount importance to me, and whilst in lockdown I have completed World Health Organisation training courses ‘Hand Hygiene’, ‘eProtect Respiratory Infections’ and ‘Infection Prevention and Control for Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19)’. There will of course be no cancellation charge for having to cancel an appointment at short notice if client or a member of their household have Covid-19 symptoms. If there is anything you are unsure about please do contact me to discuss. Even with the adaptations I have made, I remain confident that clients will still receive a wonderful hands on treatment for improved wellbeing. This is a time when our emotional and physical health definitely need some nurturing and support. Please contact me if you would like to book an appointment, for now or in September when I aim to be back to working full time.

My StoryI am a mum of 2 young boys and prior to becoming a reflexologist I worked within health and education. I am a former Midwife and have also worked in adult education and schools with children with additional needs. As a Midwife, I became frustrated with hospital policies, time limits and staffing, all of which prevented me from being able to give the quality of care and time that I wished to give to families at this precious time in their lives. Working with children and adults in a variety of roles, has helped develop my knowledge and skills in working with people from all walks of life. Archives
